Season rules
Lake Superior: 1 point equals 1 free night during Spring Value and Fall Value seasons. 2 points can equal 2 free nights during value seasons, or 1 free night during eligible 2-point seasons such as early summer, late summer, winter ski or spring break. Summer, fall colors, Christmas holiday, Memorial, MLK, President’s Day, Thanksgiving and Labor Day weekends are blackout dates or seasons.
Leech Lake: 1 point equals 1 free night from the 4th Sunday in October through the Thursday before walleye fishing opener, excluding 12/24–1/2 and Friday/Saturday nights in January, February and March. 2-point dates include the Friday before walleye opener through the 1st Friday in June, Tuesday after Labor Day through the 4th Sunday in October, weekends from 1/2–3/31, and 12/24–1/2. The 1st Saturday in June through Labor Day is blacked out.
Important notes
- Points must be earned first and redeemed on a later stay.
- Free-night redemption covers the base rate only.
- Extra person, pet, tax and booking fees are not included in free-night redemption.
- The maximum value of a point is the lowest nightly rental fee for the group size during the specific time of year.
Minimum stay for redemption
The minimum redemption stay is 3 nights over a weekend or 4 nights during the week, meaning two paying nights over a weekend or three paying nights during the week. Program terms are subject to change without notice.
